2010 February update

I've made myself some goals in February 2 of which relates to my craft and 1 was kind of something I thought I would be "asked" to help with.



My bf's friend and his wife are expecting their first son - and for christmas she bought me a Cricut!!! I know!!! Its not cheap! I had a feeling it was because she wanted me to help her with her baby shower.

Tis The Season?

I know recently Christmas has become more of a gift-giving season than a real traditional "spending time with family" season. At least this is how I've been gradually noticing what "holidays" mean.

hello december 2009!

~venting and apologies~
so its been about 2-3 months since my last post...and oddly enough i've no sales online with ETSY (lets no longer mention the word "artfire" either) ok save for 1 last week (hey...i post whenever i have a sale lol just noticed that)

i promoted for thanksgiving...black friday/cyber monday
went to the forums like crazy to the point where my real job supervisor claims she noticed i was losing focus...

Looking~

So I am looking (have been looking) for a new job.

I know economy isn't doing well - I should be grateful I am working in a company that is still showing a "plus" sign in their sales chart....but personally this job was supposed to be a stepping stone.
Of course I never even bothered putting into the equation of a decline in the markets..........so what i can call my career plan is now on standby..

Hi there, no I haven't sold on Artfire either. It doesn't seem to generate the same amount of traffic as Etsy. I have bought from Artfire so people do buy! I guess you have to keep at it!!

Hi! I've just joined here so very new to it all! I've sold two items on Etsy and they were both UK based. One was family down in London and the other someone I don't know. I've also sold one on Zibbet, again to someone I know. The problem I have is the conversion rate from pounds to dollars can look very off putting to someone from the US! You can't go really low though as that would make it cost ineffective. Difficult:{
I have ordered things from Artfire and Zibbet, both from the US, so I hope one day it'll work the other way round!
I sell to alot of friends and friends of friends at home though so I don't mind, I just want people to like what I do as much as I enjoy doing it!
