Hey there Hapa! Thanks so much for your comment -- I toyed around with doing either the cherry blossom or tofu festival, but I don't think I can find the time to build my inventory before then. I am a full-time grad student/TA, so I make the dolls as I find time (which is at a relatively slow pace!) I will definitely be going to the festival to look around though! I think it will be a fun afternoon and I need to find me some matsuri food.... yakisoba here I come!

Yeah, from my own art, I drew them myself! What do they think, it's not "handmade"? Did I make it with a fork? haha
I might give it a go selling some of my finished items there later, but I am overwhelmed with Etsy and Zibbet right now. Toying with shophandmade.com too, but I do not like their listing process. Not too user friendly, and they have a character limit AND you have to put in html tags to make paragraphs...time consuming.

1000markets denied my shop b/c they said "printables, pdf files, patterns, digital files" etc are not considered handmade or art. ???
That's weird. What about all of the knitters who sell patterns? People who create custom graphics?
I think that is dumb.
