I'm a professional writer by day, writing briefs for online websites - anything from write ups on holiday resorts throughout the world to buying gifts to ways to drain your central heating system! I live with my lovely 12 year old crafting daughter, 2 cats, 4 hens and a gerbil. My idea of a great night in is to be surrounded by a new delivery of beads or knitting yarn and just sit and drool at them.

My newest craft is to use precious metal clay to creat jewellery pieces. I fired my first batch of bronze in the ceramics kiln recently and am pleased with the results. I also handbuild ceramic items, but as it takes ages to produce enough to fill the kiln, this is a craft that I do in dribs and drabs.
