Kat Lantz

When our Featured Crafter and Crafters Crew member, Kat Lantz of Sassmowth Designs and SassKat Photography, was young she took pictures of everything with her $12 pink plastic camera. Although she admits to annoying everyone with her obsession, it helped to develop her discriminating photographer’s eye, a skill that serves her well in her profession as photographer and artisan! Is Kat jaded by the many photos she has taken? Absolutely not! She still gets excited at the end of the day when she uploads her photos to her laptop and sees the images appear before her, looking through them to choose the best ones for printing. More than a photographer, Kat has a recurring magazine column in Girlswork.ca appropriately named, “Kat’s Krafts” in which she shares her enthusiasm for crafting with a new generation. Also, don’t miss the chance to check out Kat’s second etsy shop, offering adorable “monster cards” that are becoming all the rage! What do we like best?
