I am betting they would be able to easily find the potential purse snatcher LOL

Whack! "Hey, lady, you gotta brick in that purse?" "No, just plywood!" LOL

LOL Luan maybe its a very thin veneer plywood bendable you can cut it with a utility knife. but thinking about regular plywood I wouldn't think you would 1 want to sew it in and 2 carry the additional weight:) Might be an assett if someone tries to take your purse tho:):)

I like the plastic canvas idea and the iron on stabilizer. Some things I'm reading say to use plywood. Not too sure about that one.

Iron on stabilizer also works fairly well.

I have a pattern for a backpack style purse I have made 2 it calls for plastic canvas in the bottom easy to cut and very durable:)

Here's a purse making question for the group. What do you suggest to use to stabilize the bottom of the purses. Right now I'm using covered cardboard but I really don't like that idea. Also, magnet closures. Do they have to be special or will just any magnets work? Thanks.

Just came into a HUGE amount of beautiful fabric that was going to the trash. Thinking of making purses and handbags, etc., with it to sell in my Etsy shop. Just what the world needs, right! Anyway, will post pictures soon to give you guys an idea of what I've done. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello ,
Today I am thinking about an article about me currently being put together .
A publisher I know is doing the writing - she ahs asked Q's and I sent answers, more Qs to come -
My part is to try to find magazines to submit this article to. She has one , however it seems these these are sent to more than one mag. I am learning as I go.
So do you know any east coast, women, art magazines ????
hummm.......
