Craft space?

I'm wondering what everyone does for their craft space. Do you have a dedicated room for all your craft activities? Is it in a room shared with other stuff? Do you have a great organizing system for it?

I do many different crafts and I'm always finding it hard to organize and store everything in a way that makes it easy to put away and easy to get to. My craft stuff is all in my office, though it's a fairly large room. I wouldn't argue that it's that well organized though, nor is it a terribly inspiring place. I need to work on it.

I, too, find it hard to stay organized. But, then again, I have never been accused of being greatly organized in the first place. LOL; ▶ Reply to This

but i seem to have taken it over !! We now eat on our laps lol, and its not as if i dont have the room

oh and those little coffee cups are for another craft i found in a magazine, putting wax and wicks in to make tiny little candles; ▶ Reply to This

I have a table for creating, and all my supplies around me in bins and boxes, ribbons hang on a dowel, papers in clear plastic drawers, but my table is covered at all times! I want a desk, but for now I do most of my work on a big vintage dresser. It has a lamp on top w/ pens, markers, etc and the drawers are perfect for holding my supplies, the only down side, no leg room! I also have filled the closet w/ supplies too and I hung small shelves inside the closet to hold things. I just need a desk. My mother in law has a matching desk to my dresser, but no luck talking her out of that so far! But, sometimes I work in the dining room or living room, especially if my hubby's been working all day. That way I can be in the same room with him, carry on a conversation, and work.; ▶ Reply to This

We have a spare room upstairs, but it's full of junk and boxes. I just haven't had the chance to clean it out.
