Could You Live Without Crafting? (Question 14)

As I said in a previous post, I decided to put all my energy into building My Craft Corner for a while and so I have stoppped myself from starting new projects... to a point! The truth is, I get edgy, antsy and restless if I don't craft. What about you?

No!!!!! I did that for almost two years once during the time after I had my two last boys who are now almost 4 and 6. There was also alot of other things going on in my life that didn't make it easy for me. Anyway, I slowly went into a bit of a depression I think due to not doing any of the things that I usully loved doing.
Finally, I started at it again and then some. I even got my own online shop going at Lov.li.com and then Etsy and eventually Artfire and even accepted God back into my life about a year and a half ago. For about 8 years I tried to tell myself that there couldn't really be a god. Another story entirely.:)
So...basically, I promise myself that I would never do that again.
Even if I am only able to do just a small portion of what I would really like to be doing. I know that in time, I will be able to do more and more with my ideas and online shops as my children grow. If I stopped doing what I loved completely I wouldn't be a good mother anyway because I would be depriving myself of what I really do need. It is just part of me to express myself through my art.

Ain't No Way! Too many ideas constantly running through my brain. I have notebooks full of the "next thing" that I want to create. It will take me years to create everything that I want to. Creating feuls creativity! So I keep the circle going.

I would be so bored if I stopped crafting. I think my life would be less fulfilling if I could not craft.

I just realized that I spelled "fuels" wrong. I so dislike typos!

I could, but what would be the fun in that! :D

Live without crafting? That's like not breathing! I work on a craft project every day, even if it's only for an hour. I think that crafters have it in their blood, It is not a choice to craft but a way of life.

Technically I could live life without it, but it wouldn't be a very exciting one filled with color and joy. :)

Nope..Can't stop...I always have some kind of project going.

I have to keep my hands busy, carfting is a must, and has less calories than cooking.

I guess I can because I did for so manyyears. Better question is: do I want to? No!

I agree with others. While I could probably live without it, it definitely would leave a void. Crafting is such a creative outlet, stress relief, therapy, my time to sift through my thoughts while my hands repeat a task. I do begin to feel the effects if I go without crafting for too long. Which is why I seem to always have several projects small & large, going at any given time. There's always something to meet whatever mental/emotional need I have that crafting fills.
