Thanks for joining the group and the recommendation! Isn't Artfire great? We do two promotions a week and it is a great way to experience new shops and get your products out there.

I love artfire but will be happier when I have some sales. I have been promoting as hard as someone new to internet marketing can promote. Need all the help I can get lol

Do you have a facebook fan page set up? That is great free marketing, along with twitter. Tweet the heck out of your shop and links!!! :)

yes I have a face book fan page, and I would have told you the link was here but it may not be. How often do you tweet? I have an account--and am following you--but sometimes I wonder if people get tired of me you know?

LOL I always think the same thing about twitter!! One rule of thumb with twitter is - don't only tweet links. People get sick of only seeing links. it's helpful to get your work out there, but mostly tweeter peeps are social, and like to get to know the peeps they follow. but if you only tweet about what you're having for breakfast, they're not gonna stick around either :) Do about a half and half. And don't worry too much about *annoying* people, as long as you're not tweeting 20 times in 5 minutes, you'll be fine. :)

it does amaze me that some people seem to have a running commentary of their lives on tweeter. where they go who they meet what they eat etc.., hard for me to imagine that people need to know all that stuff Thanks for the advice will try to stick with it

I tweet links to my items with little sayings to entice people to click, I retweet links of people I have made connections with and I interact with people as well. Don't just tweet link after link, nobody will follow because it's a little boring. Tweet about a new project you've started, when you make a new listing, when you're having a sale, when you post a new picture to FB, and be sure and retweet and thank the followers who do the same for you! it's a fun place to make friends and interact. it's like a huge chatroom!
I try not to tweet the same link more than twice in a day (of my own stuff).
